• Avoid exfoliating 24 hrs prior to your appointment.
• Make sure your hair is at least a grain of rice long. I recommend waiting 3-4 weeks after shaving to ensure the hair is long enough. It is very important to know the first time getting waxed is not perfect. We have 3 different cycles of hair, this means can take 4-6 wax sessions to get all hairs onto the same cycle. 
• You may take a pain reliever such as Tylenol 
• Avoid drinking coffee or alcohol at least  3-4 hours before your appointment, as these beverages can cause the skin to lift or irritate and cause unwanted sensitivity
• Please make sure you are not on any Accutane, Retinol, Retin-A or any skin and blood thinner. If you have been using any products containing these above ingredients, then you may need to get cleared by your dermatologist depending how long you have been on them. • Avoid any activities that will make you sweat  for 24hrs (gym, sauna, and any outdoor activities) this can cause heat bumps, irritation, and breakouts.
• No pool or beach for 24hrs the pores are open, sun exposure and submerging your body in these waters can cause infection or irritation to the pores . 
• Start your exfoliation 3 days after your appointment, exfoliate 4 times a week and moisturize everyday.
• DO NOT pick at ingrown hairs.
• Wear loose clothing. Cotton preferably.

Yes you can.

• You can wax while pregnant. Closer to the end of pregnancy you may be a little more sensitive. 

Your hair should be at least a grain of rice long. Give your self at least 3-4 full weeks after shaving to come in for a wax. We want to make sure the hair is completely grown in and at the right length .
